Toyota Etios  exterior look is bold and has great visual appeal. Front bumper and grille gives a very masculine look while side skirts show a touch of premium. 15-inch wide tires provide better grip and alloy provides a little look sporty.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This test is to check the condition of direct clutch, forward clutch, brake and reversebrake 1st.

a.Connect the intelligent tester to DLC3.
b.Run the vehicle until the temperature of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)reaches 50 ° to 80 ° C (122 ° to 176 ° F).
c.Let the engine idle with the air conditioning OFF.
d.Set the parking brake and keep stepping on the brake pedal firmly with your left foot.
e.Check the time lag range D.
i.Move the shift lever into the N position and wait for 1 minute. (* 1)
ii.Move the shift lever into the D position and measuring the time until you feel noshock. (* 2)
iii.Repeat the procedure (* 1) and (* 2) three times, and calculate the average time ofthree times the test.
f.Check the time lag range R.
i.Move the shift lever into the N position and wait for 1 minute. (* 3)
ii.Move the shift lever into a position of R and measuring the time until you feel noshock. (* 4)
iii.Repeat the procedure (* 3) and (* 4) three times, and calculate the average time ofthree times the test.



Default value:
Time lag range D is about 1.2 seconds
Time lag range R is about 1.5 seconds

STALL SPEED TESTING

INSTRUCTIONS:
This test is to check the overall performance of the engine and transaxle by measuring the stall speeds in position D.

NOTE:
.Do not do the stall speed test longer than 5 seconds.
.To ensure safety, do this test in a wide area, which is bright enough to have a goodrunway.
.Testing stall speed should always be performed by more than one technician (in pairs). The technician should look at the wheels and wheel chock from outside the vehicle to make sure the wheels do not slip, during another technician perform this test.


a.Connect the intelligent tester to DLC3.
b.Run the vehicle until the temperature of ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid)reaches 50 ° to 80 ° C (122 ° to 176 ° F).
c.Let the engine idle with the air conditioning OFF.
d.Wedge to 4 wheels.
e.Set the parking brake and keep stepping on the brake pedal firmly with your left foot.
f.Slide the shift lever to position D.
g.Acceleration pedal is stepped up to run out with your right foot.
h.Read the engine rpm (stall speed) and immediately release the accelerator pedal.

The default value: 1850 to 2450 rpm
